One more existential musing

I promise all this high faluting chatter isn’t what I’m normally like. I’ve been feeling kind of wistful lately and it helped me keep up some motivation, that’s all. After this, I’ll try to stick to blog posts that are actually art centric.

I just think this is an important place to say, that nobody knows what your story is going to be - in life or in fiction. Everyone will try to prescribe you different tropes and plot beats and save the cat and hero’s journeys and marriage then house then kids then this and that’s. It’s all attempts to have some semblance of control in this crazy world, put things in boxes so that they can be a little less scared of the unknowns, the ‘what ifs’ that they face when looking at the difference between their lives and yours. But I promise you, listen to YOUR heart, not anybody elses, and you’ll have a clear view of your path. You may not always understand how you’re going to actually get up that path, but you’ll see it, and the gates will open in ways you least expect. Things will go so right, you’ll be scared something’s lurking in the background. But the only thing waiting is who you were always meant to be.

All that concluded, expect some personal art and a refresh of the ways you can purchase from me! Hoping to enable squarespaces shop features, but need to get all the back end and imaging worked out. I try not to mind posting stuff that’s half finished, but I think that’s the one thing I’ll insist on getting polished first.
